Introducing My Book!

A few years ago I developed a seminar for the Atlanta Pet Fair.  It was based on the idea that although I've been grooming for a quarter of a century, I still get very excited when I learn a new and helpful grooming tip.

I compiled a bunch of grooming tips that I have learned over the years, and then called some of the top stylists in our industry and asked them if they would share a favorite tip or two. And they did! I collected over 100 tips, tricks and techniques to share.   I then took photos to illustrate each tip, organized the whole thing into sections, (styling tips, safety tips, business tips, etc.) and put it all into a power point show.  I was excited about giving this class, I really felt like I had hit on a topic that had broad appeal to my fellow groomers. 

To my delight, that class was filled to overflowing, and I ended up giving it twice.  I have since given the class at other grooming shows across the country, with similar results.  The only down side was that people who attended the class wanted a hand out to help them remember the tips.  I couldn't quite figure out how to put all the information into hand out form, so I turned it into a book.
